They are girls twins born on the 23rd February, to Dr. Frank Kobina Foh Quashie – UK (of Blessed Memory) who hails from Anum/Boso in the Eastern Region and Mrs. Mirriam T. Quashie who also comes from Asere – James Town in the Greater Accra Region.
‘RaNa Q’ grew up in both Sutton – Surrey, in the United Kingdom(UK) and Ashongman Estates, Accra – Ghana.
Their Stage Name “RaNa Q” originated from the last two(2) letters of their first names, that is Elvira(Ra) and Elvina(Na), whilst the ‘Q’, is the first letter of their surnames Quashie (Q), which also means “Queens”
Music to them started way back with their School Choir and has never looked back.
These Charming and Amazing Young Ladies are Versatile Artists (all genres) and aim to take their music to the highest level in Ghana and the world in the coming future.
