Day 2 of the Arise Ghana Demonstration. The Youth is Displeased With The Doings Of the Current Gov't
The Youth in Ghana took to the road to embark on a two-day demonstration dubbed Arise Ghana Demo. This demonstration follows last year’s Fix The Country Demonstration. It started yesterday, 28th June 2022 and continues today, 29th June 2022.
Day One of the demonstrations turned out to be a violent one, leading to the distraction of properties. Some people incurred injuries as well; both on the side of the Ghana Police and the demonstrators. According to the Police, the demonstrators insisted on using a route to the Jubilee House, which was contrary to the court’s orders. The demonstrators, on the other hand accuse the police of inciting the mess.
Earlier today, there was a video of the leaders of the Police force, advising the demonstrators against being violent or trying to fight the police and encouraging them to demonstrate peacefully. Watch video here:
The citizens of Ghana are still displeased with the doings of the current government. Below are some pictures captured at the AriseGhanaDemo Day 2.
