Jennifer Abena Assan (born 10th February 1998 ), better known by her stage name Minerva, is a young Ghanaian musician. She grew up in Tema New town Manhean, a suburb in Tema.
She is a multitalented singer because of her versatility in all genres. However she plans on focusing on afrosoul, contemporary high life, afropop and R&B.
Minerva born to Samuel Danso Assan and Comfort Mamley Assan was fond of music. She was part of the school choir in class 5. However, she got into music fully during the covid 19 lockdown.

Minerva attended Okuapemman senior high school from 2012-2015. She read Information studies and Sociology at University of Ghana from 2018-2021.
“I love music, I love that people get to have a piece of me through music because I’m not really good expressing myself.
And one of my greatest joys is seeing that strangers relate to my song and sing along. Music is a way of expressing what I feel”.
