OFFICIAL: CAF Announce 3 Man Shortlist For The African Player of the Year Award
African Player Of The Year, Who wins? The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially announced the final three for the African Player of the Year Award, 2022.
The list includes Sadio Mane who plays for German side Bayern Munich, Mohammed Salah of Liverpool and goalkeeper Edu Mendy who plays for Chelsea FC.
The final three finalists, under the year of review contributed massively to their clubs and national teams.
Both Sadio Mane and Mohammed Salah were instrumental for Liverpool in the season under review, helping the reds to reach the Champions League finals which they lost against Real Madrid.
Edu Mendy won two trophies with Chelsea last season including the FIFA Club Word Cup trophy despite nmissing out on both the FA CUP and the Carabao Cup.
The winner will be announced during tomorrow’s award ceremony.
