Uploading videos on your channel is like being a publisher. The question line becomes, “How do you become a new selling author? It only becomes easy when you have a best seller, meaning you can be able to grow your channel if your channel already has lots of subscribers and also you are already famous, then it becomes easy for your videos to go viral.
But what happens when you are now starting from scratch.
So we are going to look at how to get more subscribers and views for your YouTube channel if you are a beginner.
1. Use Compelling (Catchy) Titles:
Example of this titles are:
* How To : aside watching of videos, people mostly go to YouTube to research on (HOW TO) do something, so it best if your videos have How To headlines.
* How I: This title is mostly used to make people curious, it makes them want to find out. So for example (How I Made $100 in a day using my smart phone).
* Warning Titles: for eg,
(Don’t start a YouTube channel until you watch this)
(Don’t start a business until you watch this)
* Outcome Driven Titles: Examples
(The Most Dangerous Fish In The World)
(Types Of People In The World You Don’t Want To Mess With)
2. Hook Them With A Trailer:
Before a movie comes out, the company gives you some best scenes from the movie which makes you eager to watch the movie immediately it comes out, so always give a trailer of the video.
3. Fall In Love With Your Fans Not With Content:
One of the biggest mistakes that a YouTubers makes is that, they upload videos they want which always work to their disadvantage, since you are not the one going to watch the video, give your fans what they want and not what you want.
4. Have A CTA In Your Videos:
A CTA means, Call To Action. This is where you tell your viewers what to do. “Do you want them to subscribe, like, share or comment?” Let them in the video. Don’t assume they will automatically do all of those after watching the video, draw their attention to it.
5. Use Compelling Thumbnails:
A Thumbnail is what we call a cover art, assuming you go to YouTube, the picture or any art you first see on a video is what we call a Thumbnail. In some instances where the title fails to call for attention, the thumbnail does the magic, because bare in mind that, not everyone can read, YouTube is not only visited by graduates, those who can’t read not write also goes there to watch videos, so with such people, you trap them with your Thumbnail.
Follow this this listed above and your channel will grow in no time.
