President Akufo-Addo on Saturday, 28th November attended the burial and funeral of the late Member of Parliament (MP) for the Mfantseman to Constituency, Ekow Kwansah Hayford, who wa￼s laid to rest at Mankessim in the Central Region.
The President was accompanied by the Vice President, Dr. Bawumia and wife, Samira Bawumia, the Chief of Staff, Madam Akosua Frema Osei Opare, some senior political appointees at the Presidency, and the leadership of the New Patriotic Party, amongst other high profile state officials.
Ekow Quansah Hayford was murdered on Friday, October 9, while returning from a campaign trip. He was shot on the Abeadze Dominase – Abeadze Duadzi – Mankessim Road at about 1:00 am by some six armed highway robbers.
